By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have properly read, understand, and AGREE to the terms listed below.

 

General Disclaimers

• I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.

• Disrespectful or argumentative behavior will not be tolerated. Your commission will be cancelled and a partial refund will be issued pursuant to the amount of work completed.

• The terms outlined here may vary slightly depending on the type of commission.

• I do not accept commissions that depict graphic violence, gore, NSFW material, machinery, or discriminatory messages

 

Client Obligations

• Write in a clear and concise manner when filling out the commission form.

• Provide clear reference image(s) of the character/subject.

• Maintain professional conduct throughout the commission process.

• Respond in a timely fashion.

• Assume responsibility for any important information and clear descriptions/references you fail to provide me that results in my inability to complete your commission to your full satisfaction.

• Carefully read through the ToS and Commission Information.

 

Payment & Fees

• Payment is due in full upfront.

• Payment is done through PayPal invoice using USD.

• A rush fee will be charged for tight deadlines. A fee of 50% of the total commission price will be added for delivery within 1 week.

• A design fee of $20 will be charged for clients with no reference images that would like me to draw solely from a description and/or a collection of photos.

• Additional fees will be charged for excessive revisions (see “Revisions” below).

• If I am unable to complete the commission due to issues on my end, you will be given a partial refund, the amount depending on what stage of the process the commission is in.

• The exact prices for the fees described above will be dependent upon the complexity of the commission.

 

Process & Work Schedule

• Upon agreeing on a price and receiving payment, I will start your commission.

• I will send an in-progress image of the sketch for your review to approve, or request revisions. One (1) major and three (3) minor revisions may be requested at this time.  I will not continue with the commission until I receive approval and any requested revisions.

• Another in-progress image of the flat colors will be sent for approval, at which time three (3) minor revisions may be requested.  I will not continue with the commission until I receive your approval and any requested revisions.

• Once I am finished, I will send one final image for review. At this point, you can request one (1) minor additional revision.  

• Once the finalized artwork is accepted, I will email you full res .png files of the work. No physical product will be delivered.

• This process should take between 2-4 weeks, given timely replies.

• If I send a communication asking questions about the commission, a reply is expected within 2 weeks.  If a timely reply is not received, I will consider the commission to be fulfilled, regardless of the state of completion, and no refund will be given.

 

Revisions

• One (1) major revision and three (3) minor revisions are allowed in the sketch phase and are covered in the commission price.

• Three (3) minor revisions are allowed in the coloring stage and are covered in the commission price.

• One (1) minor revision is allowed in the final stage and is covered in the commission price.

• Revisions that exceed the amounts listed above will incur additional fees. In such a case, I will contact you to address the issue and potential fee ($5 for each additional), at which time you may pair down your requested revisions, or agree to and pay the additional fee. The commission will not progress until this is settled.

• Revisions do not carry over from one stage of the process to any other.

• It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.

 

Cancellation & Refunds

• Once the final product is approved, a refund is not permitted.

• You may cancel the commission any time, after which I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done.

• I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.

 

Copyright & Usage

• I, the artist, retain the rights over any commissioned works.

• I reserve the right to post the commissioned work on my social media.

• Any characters portrayed in the commissioned work remain copyrighted to their rightful owners.

• The final product is strictly for your personal use only, unless you purchase commercial rights.

• You must credit and link back to me/tag me when sharing or using the commissioned work.

• For commercial use, you must purchase the rights from me at 300% the original price.

• Credit is still required when using the work in any form commercially.

 

You may use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways:

• Print the work for personal use.

• Crop and/or resize the image for use as an avatar, header, video thumbnail, etc.

• Use the artwork as reference for a study.

• Post the artwork on social media, with credit to me clearly visible.

 

You may NOT use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways:

• Claim the artwork as yours.

• Remove my watermark/signature.

• Paint over or otherwise alter the artwork in ways not covered under the allowed uses above.

• Color in my sketches or lineart.

• Use the commissioned piece in any technology related to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI.

• Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
